In 2010, Amanda set up Intermedia Consulting to offer specialist training for pr people and to mentor agency senior managers. Amanda’s key areas of expertise include: agency management, strategic communications planning, new business planning and business development, and meeting facilitation.
During her 20 years in the public relations consulting, Amanda has worked in a range of senior client facing, business development and management roles as well as working as an in-house trainer to deliver PR training programs. She has always believed passionately in the need for ongoing training and development in agencies.
Training workshops she runs regularly for PRIA and in-house include: Account Management Boot Camp, Leading and Managing People, New Business Planning and Developing Strategy and Writing Proposals.
Throughout her career, Amanda has worked with a wide range of clients including; Johnson & Johnson, BP Oil, Cadbury Schweppes, the federal Public Service Commission, BHP, Commonwealth Bank, Veolia, PayPal, and LinkedIn.
Amanda was a founding member of the PRIA National Accreditation Committee and is a Fellow of the Institute. She has been the recipient of several PRIA Golden Target Awards. She has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Technology, Sydney and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
